Los Dojers

I've been wanting to take Sami to a Dodger game for quite sometime now. I hadn't because I was scared for various reasons. I know plenty of parents take their kids to Dodger games but I just didn't feel quite ready. About a week ago the opportunity finally presented itself. One of Mr.A's friends was nice enough to make Sami's birthday invitations for free IF, we went to a Dodger game for him and got his son the backpack they were giving away. Sweet deal right? Only catch, we had to take Sami. They were giving the backpack to kids 12 and under which meant we had to take her. I was nervous and excited and expected to stay 2 innings minimal. My child is awesome and all that good stuff but she is also hyper and likes to run around like any kid her age. 

All day we were prepping Sami telling her we were going to a baseball game. She seemed pretty excited even though she had no idea what baseball was. We get there and were all stoked. Sami was excited and happy to be out and about. To our surprise, Mr.A's buddy hooked us up with some pretty amazing seats. Field level, and in the shade. A double win considering it was a hot day. Sami turned out to behave better than expected. We tried to distract her with snacks and whatnot but after awhile her attention span had reached its max and she started saying she wanted to go home. She began giving me the false alarm potty breaks. Meaning I had to take her to the restroom back to back even though she didn't have to go. We tried to hold out as long as we could but alas we caved and ended up leaving during the 6th inning.

All in all we all had a good time and it was great family experience. Our first Dodger game together. Even though Sami didn't hang all 9 inning she seemed happy to be there. Over the weekend we took a drive to her grandma's house and she asked if were going to a baseball game. I thought that was so rad. It made me happy and proud knowing my daughter is growing up to be a Dojer fan. Just like her momma.
